The Orange Box

The first game I got on steam was a pack called "The Orange Box," perhaps the best thing for a first buy. It includes five games for $30, and it has some of the most widely known and cherished games, such as Half-Life 2 and Portal. Half-Life 2 has one of the best physics engines, the Valve Source Engine. Portal has the same engine, but a completely different style of gameplay. Also included are: Team Fortress 2, Half-Life 2 Episode 1, and Half-Life 2 Episode 2. The Half-Life 2 episodes are just a continuation of Half-Life 2, and Team Fortress 2 is a class-based multiplayer game.
